What have we been up to this half-term?

Croeso i dosbarth Limeslade!

Our theme for this term is 'cultural diversity.' We will begin with EPIC planning and then devise our quest work. Our Core Purpose Superhero, 'Ethical and Informed Efan,' will be blown away by our achievements.

This term, we will also elect our new AoLE leaders, who will assist in the formation of our school Senedd. We must prepare a persuasive speech to persuade our audience that we are the best candidate for our chosen role.

We will be applying for the following positions:

- Science and technology (Digi/ STEM Leaders)

- Language, Literacy and Communication (Criw Cymreig)

- Maths and Numeracy (Entrepreneurial Leaders)

- Faith Leaders

- Humanities

- Expressive Arts (Creative Leaders)

- Health and Well-being (Bronze Ambassadors)

We will collaborate together in the Senedd on a special enterprise project to raise funds for our school. Like our 4CP Superhero, Ceri, we will undoubtedly be enterprising and creative contributors!

In Year 6 we will follow and keep our classroom rules:

- Always look at and listen to the teacher.

- Be polite and respectful to everyone.

- Hands up and use inside voices.

- Be organised and concentrate.

- Keep our environment safe and tidy.

This term, we will also take advantage of our excellent outdoor spaces and beach, which will allow us to explore the natural environment, have incredible adventures, and have a good impact on our well-being.

To participate in Games lessons on Thursdays, we must wear our P.E. kit. We are attempting to be as healthy and self-assured as Healthy Holly, our 4CP Superhero.

Every day, we will bring in our diaries to update them with spellings, log ins, reading, and other important notes for our parents. On Fridays, we will do our homework and ensure that we have read the HWB announcements for the class. Our autumn objectives will be written in our diaries, and as ambitious and capable learners, we will work very hard to attain them, as this is what our Ambitious and Capable Amber wants.
