Autumn Term

We are studying the Ancient Egyptians this term. In Literacy, we are reading the book Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx, using drama techniques to explore the story and write our own riddles. We will be learning about the discovery of Tutankhamun, the process of mummification and decoding hieroglyphics. In our Creation & Covenant topic, we are learning about Abraham, the prophet Elijah and John the Baptist, giving us a good understanding of the virtues of faith, hope and love.
